Let's explore the iconic Gemayzeh and Mar Mkhael bar scene. This is where Beirut's dynamic crowd hangs out. We'll hop to our favorite spots starting at 8pm from the hotel. For those landing in Beirut on this day, check in, relax & freshen up, and then meet us for at least a drink. We’ll be going on a pub crawl along Gemmayseh, starting with a sunset at Capitole at 7:30pm. This will be done on foot starting from Saifi Suites. Or you can Uber there.

Dress code: Smart casual. No flip flops or shorts. Flats ok for women. 

9am_  Explore Beirut. 

Friends, you have the day free to explore the city or enjoy it poolside. We recommend this walking tour or going to Madame Blue (Upscale) or Sporting Beach (Retro) to enjoy the pool and seaviews. Celia, Robby and their families will be at the Jaber home, for the Kateb Kitab ceremony.

6pm_ Sun Downers and Beach Party. Robby & Celia’s (final) Independence Day. 

We’ll enjoy a beautiful Mediterranean sunset over summer tunes and cocktails. Then we’ll have a Cali style private dinner by the pier. We have this place for ourselves so feel free to toast, cheer and get to know each other. Don’t be strangers. 

Time: 5:30 pm - 1 am
Transportation: Three busses taking off from Saifi Suites at 5:30 pm sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes early.  Busses will be heading back to hotel at 10:30 pm, 11:30 and 1:00 am. 
Dress code: Shorts and shirts for guys; sundresses and flats or wedges for women.

9am_ Beirut Walking Tour.

We suggest you stay local and keep your energy for a late night. Check our Beirut guide for ideas.

Getting Ready

Ladies:  Emac Urban Spa is ready for you starting at 11am, this is a dry bar skilled to do any hair do, and they charge a flat fee of $13 and $20 for up-dos. They also do meni & pedi. Price list and services listed in the form - please answer this form with the services you need.

You can head to Phil & Joe Barbershop on Gemmayzeh Street, also a 10 minute walk from the hotel. 

6pm_ Wedding Ceremony & Reception (and after party)

Please make sure you are at the pick up point early, busses will leave on time. Ceremony starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and lots of dancing.

Time: 5:00pm pickup, ceremony starts at 6:00pm sharp.
Location: Three busses leaving from Saifi Suites, please be on time. For those arriving on their own, please anticipate high traffic and plan to be there on time. The earliest buss will be leaving back to hotel at 12:30 am, and the rest TBD :)

Sleep in and order breakfast in bed. But in case you miss the window, Zaatar w Zeit is a must have. Get it delivered to your room. 

1pm_ Lebanese Lunch at Kahwet Mandaloun

A trip to Lebanon is not complete without a leisurely Lebanese lunch. Celia & Robby host this essential post-wedding treat. 

Time: 12:30pm pickup, lunch served at 1pm. Seated.
Location: Two busses leaving from Saifi Suites, please arrive 15 minutes early. Uber also works. 
Dress code: Casual / Beach wear: shorts & t-shirts. Sundresses and flats. 
Venue: Kahwet Mandaloun 

4pm_ Post Lunch Pool at Mandaloun Beach Club

After the food, comes the food coma only a minute away. An optional hangout at the adjacent pool for more lounging, sunsets and sundowners. 

Timing: 4pm - 8pm
Transportation: One bus heading back at 8pm. Ubers are plenty too. 
Dress code: Beach wear

9pm_ It's Friday night. If you still got the energy, you're on your own!
